After over twenty years playing out' dance,rare groove,soul,jazz,Latin,electro,acid,dnb,hip hop...well basically you dance to it I play it. I stepped back in time and bought my first hmv 101, my wife was the inspiration her joy at the aesthetic value of the gramophone, was quickly matched by my amazement at the quality and depth of the music. This new chapter of my musical life, has brought me new skills, new discoveries and a new audience...and now two hmv 101's to DJ with. I hope over time to share my new and burgeoning collection with you all.

djstiky 29th Oct 2014		78 RPM Kid Ory And His Creole Jazz Band - Tiger Rag / Eh, Là-Bas!	Eh la Bas .... I love playing out 78's, this classic tune is a guanteed floor filler. Delivered in a loose flowing way, it catches my audience unawares. I think they respond, as I do to the contagious sheer joy this band exudes as they play a tune they clearly really enjoy and revel in. Zesty hot jazz to a raucous traditional song, timeless one off ....ace .
