Additional information: This record was reissued on 45rpm in 1956, see http://www.45cat.com/record/v2011 where is also said: "Originally released on 78 with the same catalogue number in May 1951." Thus I have completed the date like that.

I've also found an image of the B-Side on the web that I have added as well. You are invited to upload an improved image from your own record if possible.

A last comment: The originally entered date "1936" was particularly strange here because this is a live recording made in Los Angeles, October 7, 1949, for Franks Bull's and Gene Norman's Dixieland Jubilee, as referred to on the following YouTube link with the same recording, but on the Swedish Jazz Selection label (in contrast to the comment there, Dixieland Jubilee was rather an L.A. concert series, but it seems that some recordings were also released on a same-named label).

Having reverted the "Vouge" records to Vogue, I found out that three of them were already here and that the other Vogue items didn't start before 1951, and that with a reason as LondonJazzCollector reveals:
...
3. Vogue Records (UK)
Disques Vogue was also established in the UK in 1951, but was subsequently taken over by Decca around 1956, and active mainly 1962-1968 as Vogue Records, the rights to the trademark having reverted to the French company Disques Vogue.

That means that all earlier dates (we want the release years, not the recording dates) are incorrect. I have corrected them to 1951 so that they match the UK Vogue records already on the database.

Hi djstiky, thanks for your contributions and your vivid comment here. It seems, however, advisable to give you some hints:
¤ Your newly added label is not spelled Vouge Records but Vogue Records, or preferably just Vogue.
¤ I don't know why you think that your Vogue records were made or sold in the USA. Actually they were obviously licenced from US labels, and the catalogue numbers indicate UK pressings (although this is not mentioned on the labels).
¤ We want images of the records cropped to their labels, see Image Guide - 78 RPM.

I will correct your label and crop this image. For your future submissions, please try to follow the rules of this site.

Eh la Bas .... I love playing out 78's, this classic tune is a guanteed floor filler. Delivered in a loose flowing way, it catches my audience unawares. I think they respond, as I do to the contagious sheer joy this band exudes as they play a tune they clearly really enjoy and revel in. Zesty hot jazz to a raucous traditional song, timeless one off ....ace .
