Plastic_Passion 2nd Dec 2024		Vinyl Album Ritchie Valens - His Greatest Hits	I feel this was probably released in February 1964 as there is a photo of NEMS store in Liverpool showing this LP in the window. The singles chart in the window shows Cilla Black at #1 with "You're My World" which charted in May/June 1964.
Plastic_Passion 10th Sep 2023		Vinyl Album Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band - Safe As Milk	To those asking why two tracks were dropped from the Marble Arch reissue, that was the price we paid (literally) for these budget releases. They sold around 12s/6d (62½p) at the time which was less than half the price of a full price LP. Hence two tracks were left off, especially as the full price LP was sometimes still on catalogue. This happened with Pye LPs by Donovan, Kinks, the Searchers etc. All had tracks left off when they appeared on Marble Arch.
