Focus B 16th May 2020		Cassette Album Various Artists - The Hits Of 1967 (1988)	What I found fascinating is hearing all the edits clearly on the two Keith West numbers, not audible on the original vinyl singles, nor elsewhere. An excellent compilation which introduced me to some lesser known numbers when I got it new in 1989.
Focus B 10th Mar 2018		8-Track The Beatles - Please Please Me (1972)	This format was the first time I heard this great album. I became so accustomed to,,"Misery" being the first song the original LP seemed alien to me. The stereo is wonderful too. That was in 1972. I can certainly imagine those who remembered the original mono album would have thought this sounded strange. I was overjoyed to find a copy on 8-track again, even if it was housed in a sleeve for, "Help!"!
Focus B 10th Mar 2018		Reel-to-Reel The Beatles - Please Please Me (1963)	I guess 3 3/4 ips became the standard for pre recorded reel-to-reel tapes in the UK as the cheaper single speed recorders were.that speed.
Focus B 8th Jan 2018		8-Track The Beatles - Help! (1972)	I don't own this tape, the sleeve housed my copy of "Please Please Me". As it's of interest I thought I'd upload it.
Focus B 30th Oct 2017		8-Track The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour (1972)	The UK cassette and 8-track wasn't issued until 1973 as far as I'm aware. This French Odeon issue was imported into the UK and was my first encounter with this album. Perhaps I could be forgiven in believing MMT was French based as a 7 year old hearing the opening bars of the French National Anthem at the start of, "All You Need Is Love"!
Focus B 28th Oct 2017		8-Track The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1972)	Added images from what appears to be an earlier copy. Plays extremely well!
Focus B 28th Oct 2017		Cassette Album John Lennon - Shaved Fish (1975)	I seem to recall one that had black shells and white paper labels with the print in black. I guess the above images are a later issue.
Focus B 27th Oct 2017		8-Track The Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] (1972)	Released circ 1972. Case is labelled as "THE BEATLES DOUBLE ALBUM"
Focus B 27th Oct 2017		8-Track The Beatles - Abbey Road (1972)	I couldn't upload this tape as an Apple release as remarkably there's absolutely no reference to Apple records anywhere! By the sleeve I estimate it dates from around 1972. Sound quality is superb.
