If the tracks are the same on Mono and Stereo versions , BUT the recordings were done at different times ( with music and lyric changes ) do they remain as Mono and Stereo de-liniters or as LP in each instance ( with Mono , Stereo in relvant record notes ) ?

Sounds like it would be best just to use the normal Mono LP, Stereo LP designations.

I'm wondering if this has been answered elsewhere. Throughout the early 1960s, particularly with some labels I have in mind they exclusively used Mono. Is it always necessary to use the Mono option if there is a Mono LP or is just "LP" sufficient. That is to say, is it always necessary to indicate that an LP is Mono or only when an alternative Stereo mix exists?
