" Member since Nov 2010 966 Points | As reported earlier by Jandm.wilson on 45cat, the music world has lost Martin Phillipps, driving force of NZ band The Chills, aged 61. My initial purchase back in '86 was the Kaleidoscope World mini compilation LP from Creation. Brave Words ( given a CD reboot last year) and Silver Bullets both marvelous albums if you are not familiar with the band, Underwater Wasteland from the latter is superb. But it was this tune from the Lost EP that I listened to today which reminded me just how much I'd loved them back then: |
