Member since Jun 2014 3745 Points Moderator | IT's great if you have a very old and brittle, or otherwise fragile record you don't want to physically touch.. maybe for digitising. But then, that the problem regarding general play... it's still digital. The laser converts analogue lumps and bumps into digital output of 1s and 0s. Which kind of defeats the analogue experience from this point of view. |
