I'm laboriously working through my collection of CD's and adding them as needed. Just came to one which gives top billing to 'Slim Gaillard', then below that says 'Babs Gonzales' and finally has a title "Suckin' And Jivin' "
The problem: if I put the artist as 'Slim Gaillard And Babs Gonzales" it would seem to suggest that they both appear on some tracks, however, that is not true. They are marginally similar artists and somebody (Charly, actually) decided to comp the two together.
Am I being needlessly concerned here, and should just go with both as the artist, or what?

I've created the artist Babs Gonzalez in CD albums...
(And Slim Gaillard already exists, and has a few CDs)
So just enter the item as the item itself dictates... if it does not differentiate, then don't enter the individual artists track for track.
Then I / We will make the artist combo: Slim Gaillard And Babs Gonzalez a Pseudonym for each individually... that way your CD will appear in both discographies.
And the facts about the CD and it's lack of differentiation can be added in comments, or if you want, pushed into 'notes', so anyone looking at the entry can see what the proverbial skinny is on this particular disc.
I'm going to remove the artist 'Babs Gonzalez' since there actually no entries for Babs under that spelling...now that I have added several items for Babs Gonzales. I appreciate the effort!
