I add the correct branded and official label on submissions, yet keep getting changed to incorrect ones or even non-existent ones, why?
Sony BMG Music Entertainment was a major label, official label name and branded logo, changed to and added incorrectly added on those with this label as Sony BMG
La Bloemen Productions b.v. official label name and branded logo, changed to La Bloemen Productions, never was a label called La Bloemen Productions
for some reason labels with text in smaller letters like Music, Records, or other parts of label names get ignored to create fake labels. What exactly is the point of this and ignoring facts?

It's probably because a) we aim to have a short label name b) it's easy to confuse a label name with a company name
On some issues it will show the company with great prominence but bothering with Ltd. Inc. S.A, B.V. is difficult to maintain and increases the amount of moderation work. So we go for something simple which is also correct. You seem to be taking this all very personally. Please rely on the moderators and owners of the site to work for the best interests of the site and maintain what is already an essential tool for all record collectors and enthusiasts. You've made your point about how you feel and it has been heard. But you can't necessarily force changes onto the site if other members decide that they don't agree with your view on things.
SONY BMG Music Entertainment is a good case in point. It benefits no one to have a label name as long as that (when it's the company name anyway) when the label name SONY BMG exists already.

In other words 45worlds does not care about the facts and accuracy but prefer to make up label names that don't exist or lump together different entities under one company even though they are not the same at all.
Yes, I take it personally when I add what is correct, what has been thoroughly researched, everyone in the rest of the world knows to be true, but here you just seem to not care about accuracy, and that is insulting to me and all the others who aim to have accurate facts. I will repeat for a last time, there never was, there isn't and never will be a label called La Bloemen Productions, it is, has been and will be as long as it exists La Bloemen Productions b.v.. And Sony BMG Music Entertainment was a worldwide well-known label, yet here you chose to lump it under Sony BMG which was a different entity, also a label but not the same one. So if you don't care about accuracy, you should probably put that in you site guidelines somewhere so people joining know this isn't actually a site that takes discography seriously and just fudges that facts for what exactly? Convenience?

I wonder when you go to a shop whether you shop at Aldi like the rest of us human beings or Aldi Stores Ltd. ? You see one is the name of the shop and the other is the name of the company that owns the shop. You're making exactly the same basic, and pedantic error based on a misapprehension of what a record label is and what it represents.
There is probably a happy medium to be struck between the cumbersome pedantry of Discogs and the more laissez-faire approach which you attribute to this site.
If you feel strongly about any perceived inaccuracy, feel free to submit a correction request, or PM the administrators (sorry guys).
In conclusion, I would have to say that (imo) this site is infinitely more user-friendly than Discogs - no doubt admin wishes that state of affairs to continue.

Even Discogs distinguishes between actual label names (e.g., Victor), which are usually highlighted by larger fonts or some kind of logo design, and the full name of the record companies (e.g., Victor Taking Machine Co. or RCA Victor Division Of Radio Corporation Of America).
Based on this, Sony BMG is absolutely fine, and La Bloemen Productions should maybe simply be La Bloemen.
This site doesn't bother with company names because it prefers simplicity and usability for everyone, even the non-specialists. Accordingly, all variants of one record are assigned to the same entry. Within many entries, though, you can see that people have tried to distinguish between different variants (and often did a better job than Discogs).
