No, the link is detected from DVD Title to Cinema World
What???
Then, what's the point of adding other Titles to the Cinema World if they don't link anyway?
Once again i'll state my case!
Add an Original Title field in the Add Disc submission form and link to the Cinema World.
It would be so great function and improvement to the Db.
Does that mean that a DVD release using an alternate title will not be able to find that alternate title in Cinema World if it is housed in the Other Titles area?

Yes, that would be too complicated a situation to manage I think. It would result in things being linked, but people wouldn't understand why.
But I want to reiterate that we're always looking to improve the worlds, so maybe things will work better in the future.

No, not complicated at all.
Detect the link (to Cinema world) from an Original Title field instead of Title field as is now.
That way all different releases from all around the world would be gather under the right entry in the Cinema world and we could loose the [year] in the Title field and just use the [year] in the Original Title field instead.
People would understand, believe me.
As for now people don't understand why they can't add a foreign Title to the Cinema world.
Extra foreign titles can be input (in Other Titles) and SEARCHED in Cinema, but not from the Title field.
Many extra titles in English, and many foreign added titles, appear only in the Comments field, in part because the title fields have evolved over time. As usual, the evolution of fields creates confusion and complexity, especially for new participants who see older records with data input in ways the are no longer valid. It's a good idea when searching Cinema to search any title not found from the Title field in the ALL field, and check search results for Comments that appear below results from any indexed fields in Cinema that display on top.
A sample title to search as Title, then as ALL illustrates this: Moszkva szljozam nye verit
Hope the above information is understandable. The growing complexity of the system makes it increasingly tough to navigate.
