I am relying on the expertise of 78 collectors who know much more than me even though I am past my 70th year....I will enter a list of the 78's that I am finding it impossible to find....Do they exist at all.???..If any of them do, could you please provide of photoshot of the discs so that I can recommence my search....Many thanks to all...
Many thanks for your reply......I do have that information that comes from myself putting the catalogue number on.....However NOBODY has been able verify that they have seen or played this song and no photographic evidence is available on any world site.....I would LOVE to be wrong but I doubt it exists.....Mike

To expand on previous answers:
According to Frank Andrews/Bill Dean Myatt:
'Somewhere in France with You' by Hutch on F 1614 (c/w I'll Remember) was released in January 1940 and deleted in March 1942.
'Breeze And I' by Geraldo on Parlophone F 1769 (c/w I'll Never Smile Again) was released October 1940 and deleted Feb 1943
And if 'Good Morning' - Joe Loss. Regal Zonophone MR 3216 (c/w Where or When) is the one you seek, Frank Andrews handwritten notebook says this was released Feb 1940 and deleted March 1941.
Each of these records has a short time in their catalogues compared to non-wartime issues, and we should also remember that the shortage of shellac limited the number of records that were being pressed, and that the manufacturers were asking for everybody to return their old records for recycling. So rarity of any record around this period does not mean that they were never issued.

Back in 1992 Alan Dell on BBC Radio (1/2) Dance Band Days lamented that some requests could not be fulfilled ( even the BBC then DIDNT have them extant in its famed library) and also that folk were posting 78s to him in the mail that managed to arrive broken and unplayable.
