Really the Nixa name should have disappeared from the labels at the end of 1959 and continued as Just "Pye"
Are we talking about the last Pye Nixa or the last Pye 78??

Yep -- my mis-typing.

I don't show a cut off for Pye Nixa in my stuff.

Everything in 1959 was on 78 from what I have seen

A few releases (15174 to 15179) in January 1959 were 78 only -- all calypso.

I can detail them if anyone is interested

On initial search the only 78's I can see issued on major British labels after the Lonnie Donegan one are a couple of Oriole ones a month or two later.

According to my notes, this was not issued on 78rpm. I probably took that from the Record Information Services label listing for Pye Nixa. Do you have a source which disagrees?

I took my info from that same source -- Paul Pelletier. Pye (Nixa) Complete British 78/45 rpm 15000 Singles Series: 1955-1965

Interesting, I've been under the impression it didn't exist. I'll have to dig out my copy of that listing. The record isn't on Popsike though, and surely a copy would have sold for enough money to be archived on there - unless it really is that rare or worthless. The New Records catalogue from January 1960 has (7)N15244 listed which suggests it was available on both formats, though there must be some reason I noted it in my database as 'no 78rpm'. And I took it off my 'wants' list. Hmmm.
