If not the best show and my all time favourite, Robin Williams was a true comedian and in Mork & Mindy he showcased his skills of making people laugh, each episode was amazing and well planned out.

Though anything Robin Williams acted in was great work though this is his all time best show.

I liked the show when I was a kid but it got better when Williams calmed down and lost the helium from Mork's voice. And while it was no MASH they managed to sneak some dead serious material into the show under the cover of comedy. One notable example was the episode where the fourth wall is destroyed when Mork meets Robin Williams, and Williams gives a dead-serious assessment of what it means to be famous (which takes on a very sombre context after his suicide). The same episode ends with Mork mentioning famous people who have died, including John Lennon who had been killed only a couple month before the episode aired. Powerful stuff for what was intended to be a 1970s update of My Favorite Martian.

Yeah it weren't that funny, were it?

Robin Williams - brilliant comic actor - but in his younger days he was a tad too annoying and manic.
