Notes

A spin-off of an earlier children's series called Butternut Square in which Coombs (who had previously worked with Fred Rogers on the original Canadian version of what would become Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood) first played Mr. Dressup.

Puppeteer Lawrence played both Casey and Finnegan simultaneously. Fortunately for her, Finnegan was a non-speaking character.

The CBC continued to air reruns of Mr. Dressup in its original timeslot for 10 years after production ended (and for 5 years after the death of Ernie Coombs). Coombs spent the last few years of his life touring Canadian college and university campuses reminiscing about the series. Some of these events were promoted as "Have a beer with Mr. Dressup".

23skidoo 30th Jun 2015		The title screen dates from 1981 and is the earliest I could locate online. However the logo I'm pretty certain was in use when I started watching this show in the early 70s and the CBC uses it for its DVD releases of past episodes so I think it's the definitive logo for this show. EDIT: Original title screen located.
