This show was screened by NBN, here in Newcastle(Australia) for a number of weeks, then suddenly disappeared from NBN's schedule without any kind of explanation. This was back in the mid-1980s. We never saw that last episode. Shame, really, I quite liked the show.

This series is infamous for launching the Tommy Westphall Universe theory. The final episode (spoiler alert) reveals the entire series took place in the mind of a young boy with autism. Which is fine except during its run the series had a number of crossover episodes that directly linked it to a number of other TV shows, primarily through a crossover with the Homicide Life on the Street character John Munch, who appeared on shows ranging from the Law & Order franchise to The X-Files. Fans have connected the dots to some 375 different series (including Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, All in the Family, etc etc etc) that all, theoretically, exist in the same fictional universe -- a universe existing in the mind of a young boy. It's quite amazing. For more information (including a flowchart and list of series), go to https://thetommywestphall.wordpress.com/
