My copy has the lettering on both sides of labels Recording first published 1963 under the matrix no. BPG 62193 A & B sides. The record inner sleeve is poly lined and on one side of the sleeve gives instructions on handling and playing! There is no (P)1963 can anyone confirm if this is a first pressing please?

Later "Night & Day" labels added. The sleeve has an additional line on the back showing EMI's involvement and each disc has been assigned a new catalogue number. The sleeve has the same set catalogue number as the original issue.

There was actually a really cool animated music video (by John Wilson) 4 "Gotta Serve Somebody". I've always assumed it was the official music video, since it had Bob Dylan's actual hit single attached?!? I have it on this VHS cassette, but I don't see the video in YouTube. I'd love 2 make a video file and upload it 2 YouTube, but years ago I had an account that was closed because of copyright infringement issues.

This is the Album that actually turned me on to Dylan !
I was upto this point not really interested, but once I'd heard Baby Stop Crying on the radio, went into his back catalogue ( Pre '78 ).
Must say tho' prefer " electric " Dylan.

{Images #3588029 & 3588030} is Terre Haute. Thus two of the three variants (that, and my Pitman {Images #458286 & 458287} have been accounted for.

Frankly, the Pitman {Images #1838996 & 1838997} is better laid out than Santa Maria's {Images #1122997 & 1123001}.

@thegreatbear96 “Baby…” was a July 1978 single release, followed by “Changing…” in October 1978. So the sticker which mentions only “Baby…” would be earlier.

According to the link below to the website Searching For A Gem, some copies have black hype sticker on shrink wrap advertising the song "Baby Stop Crying", while some have sticker in same colour advertising both "Changing Of The Guards" and "Baby Stop Crying" - not sure which sticker is the earlier of the two, so any further comments are welcome!

Such a weird pressing. The vinyl is really thin for Island releases of the time and the matrices are scratched rather than stamped. They feel like CBS discs from a lot later. The typeface looks odd too, not the usual Island.
All that plus the US sleeve with the Asylum logo. Very strange.
