Tough to pin this one down. R&R chart 6.24.83. 1st ARSA mention 6.25.24 on AOR CILQ Toronto tho next not til 7.2.83 on AOR Toronto CHUM-FM. BB review 7.2.83 pg 59. I didn't see a CB review. Charted BB & CB 7.9.83 [sorry, late night post using 'bad' mm.dd.yr]. I'm posting this in my collection as street date 6.27.83.

I've never seen an 'add' at ARSA radio like this LP. This def went to AOR on 1 May 81. BB, CB & RW reviews all 9 May 81 [BB pg 66; CB pg 19; RW (pg 1?)]. [Pg 1 is missing from my sources but this LP was #1 Flashmaker in same issue so I'd wager Joe's LP review was on the cover]. I am NOT questioning Warlock but it shows the nature of 'when exactly is an album [or 45] released? When it goes to radio? or when you can buy it in the shops? [the 'street date', which is MY benchmark].

1979 release, not 1976, because 1976 releases were on ABC Records, which MCA purchased in early 1979, and as German distribution of MCA moved to Ariola as of 1 January 1980, 1979 is the only year that this Metronome-distributed MCA version could have been issued. Plus, it looks like the original German release on ABC (distributed by Ariola, as it happens) was in 1977 anyway, and it is linked below.

B3 track title on the back cover is: Pavane "Pavane De La Belle Au Bois Dormant" - (From The Mother Goose Suite). According to the internet Pavane has 2 N's: Pavanne.

Featuring the infamous ( and classic) "I.L.B.T.'s" (I Like Big Tits). Supposedly Warner Bros. exec's didn't listen to it until several weeks after they released it. Contacting Walsh to complain about it, he responded by saying "Well, you shipped it three weeks ago. It’s a little late to just be listening to it for the first time!"
