Added a full set of scans for this entry. The labels on my copy do not show the initials of the composer just the surname but information is all correct. Is it worth fussing over? Anyway, hats off to LouisSidney for doing the original entry and I hope you like my scans.

M.Antony, you asked "was this the first ever official release of "Midsummer Night's Scene?" To my knowledge and recollection I believe the answer is yes. The liner notes here say that Marc left John's Children because he had "intense dissatisfaction" with the mix of the track. Whether that had anything to do with its withdrawal I don't know. What I do know though is that the inclusion of this track on this album made this compilation sort after worldwide.
It was put together by Australian rock historian Glenn A. Baker who made some excellent compilations for the major labels and on his own Raven label (1979). He specialized in including super rare tracks like "Midsummer Night's Scene" or re-releasing long out of print sort after albums.
