Focus B 15th Aug 2017		Vinyl Album The Easybeats - The Easybeats (1969)	Issued circ 1969 suggesting the original UA "Good Friday" release was not in production for long. I note that was also issued in mono and stereo as well. This is an excellent budget release though. Cost me 30p in the mid '80s!
Focus B 24th May 2017		Vinyl Album The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request (1967)	My own copy has a non 3D front with the, "Red-Mono Blue-Stereo" cut out hole the back. The album itself is the genuine mono 1P/P1 version. The red inner sleeve gives the appropriate indication but must've been confusing for stereo. I wondered for sometime if these copies originally came with the usual mono or stereo polythene inner bags with my copy of the album being swapped over from an original issue at some point?

Focus B 10th May 2017		Vinyl Album The Yardbirds - Little Games (1985)	Excellent album with equally good bonus tracks in their original and proper mono. Unfortunately my copy has side 2 labels on both sides. If anyone here has a copy please upload side 1 and add missing info.
Focus B 7th May 2017		Vinyl Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin [IV] (1971)	Uploaded my own copy with the inverted feather on Side Two. However, how early is this issue? Both sides finish 2401012 //3 and have hand scribed "Porky" on one side and "Pecko" on the other. Also noticed the publishing credit is just for Kinney Music. Must be a very early example where the cutter has signed their efforts.
Focus B 7th May 2017		Vinyl Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin (1969)	I've noticed the label uploads for Yes' "Fragile" album having to older narrow typeface however! I'm sure my copy of IV has the narrow typeface. I'll have a look in due course.

Focus B 6th May 2017		Vinyl Album Cat Stevens - Matthew And Son (1967)	Uploaded labels and rear of sleeve with as much writing on the back cover airbrushed out as much as possible. Please feel free to upload a better condition rear cover.
Focus B 6th May 2017		Vinyl Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin (1969)	Added labels from early 1971 issue with different typeface. Interestingly the matrix for Side One is 588171 //1 with Side Two 588171 4 ( in place of inverted triangle). Inverted triangle usually reserved for mono records! Interesting to note the publishing credit remains Warner Bros/7 Arts which may suggest the label images uploaded by Albert Swaps could be later still. Interesting to hear what matrixes are used for the other copies uploaded.
Focus B 5th May 2017		Vinyl Album Cat Stevens - New Masters (1967)	Labels uploaded. Will do the sleeve in due course. Like the "Matthew & Son" album the album title is not on the labels, only the artist.
Focus B 5th May 2017		Vinyl Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin (1969)	Added Polydor advertising inner sleeve. With "The Yes Album" included but not "Led Zeppelin IV" my copy of this album must date from early 1971. Noticed too the typeface on the labels differ from those already uploaded. I'll include my 1971 labels in due course.

Focus B 11th Jan 2017		Vinyl Album Wire - 154 (1979)	Uploaded part of surviving original shrink wrapping with sticker info. Matrix numbers originally SHVL 819-A1 and SHVL 819-B2 lined out and replaced by SHSP 4105-A1 and SHSP 4105-B2. A classic album.

Focus B 25th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album Wire - 154 (1979)	The crossed out SHVL 819 matrix numbers suggest this album was originally intended as a "luxury" item usually reserved for Pink Floyd and the likes.

Focus B 21st Dec 2016		Vinyl Album The Moody Blues - On The Threshold Of A Dream (1969)	migh224s images clearly show an original issue with the large labels and upside down matrix numbers. How it ended up in a newer none laminated sleeve is a mystery!
Focus B 19th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album Renaissance - Novella (1977)	The US issue on Sire seems more commonly encountered in the UK. I managed to find a mint condition UK issue which turns out to be a terrible pressing. Perhaps why the US issue was heavilly imported?! In contrast my second issue (light brown label) UK issue of "A Song For All Seasons" is a superb pressing.

Focus B 12th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album The Kinks - Something Else By The Kinks	I remember when buying this copy new in 1986 it sold at mid price. Excellent pressing too.
Focus B 10th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album Yes - Fragile (1971)	My own copy is a Polydor release yet this sticker was found on the inside cover giving the Kinney info. I can only guess Kinney must've still had stocks of Polydor pressed LPs to sell as the change of distribution was complete.
Focus B 10th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album Yes - Fragile (1972)	I have the Polydor version with orange and purple labels. The sleeve has a red and white sticker over the Polydor info giving the K 50009 catalogue number however! The last photo looks as if the sticker is missing. I would expect them to use up the sleeves for the new Kinney issue but seems odd the album contained is the Polydor version. I can only guess the album was pressed as a Polydor release then Atlantic became part of the Kinney group at the time of sale.
Focus B 10th Dec 2016		Vinyl Album The Kinks - Something Else By The Kinks	I wonder if this actually is a re-issue of a re-issue, or just pressed with PRT labels in place of PYE? Both this and "Kontroversy" have absolutely no reference to PRT on the sleeve and vice versa on the labels. As can be seen on the close up this issue of "Something Else" was re-issued by Pye in 1980. Both albums have handwritten matrix numbers.

Focus B 27th Nov 2016		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Hey Jude (1970)	They would have done better to feature "The Inner Light" and "Get Back" in place of "Can't Buy Me Love" and "I Should've Known Better" as they'd yet to have true stereo versions released. From what I remember having had a copy nearly 40 years ago was the welcome inclusion of "Rain" in stereo.

Focus B 27th Nov 2016		Vinyl Album The Moody Blues With The London Festival Orchestra - Days Of Future Passed (1967)	Well I never, just picked up a nice earlier copy with full sized ringed labels and upside down matrix numbers. Side A is 1W, Side 2 2W. Probably a second press as the group name is on the labels, Circa 1968 Except in mono I've never seen a stereo issue as early as this. EDIT- Labels now uploaded.

Focus B 26th Nov 2016		Vinyl Album Petula Clark - Petula Clark's Hit Parade (1966)	Rear of sleeve and labels uploaded. Only "2 Own" so far? One of the best compilations ever I think, Remained on catalogue into the '70s. I've seen stereo "Golden Hour" style blue and black label copies dating from the early '70s.
