Juke Jules SUBS 28th Dec 2015		Vinyl Album Earth Opera - The Great American Eagle Tragedy (1969)	Review A sad and angry album by this Boston band, made at the time the USA involvement in the Vietnam War was at its height and the Communist allies were about to launch the Tet Offensive. Peter Rowan sounds at times rather like the Tim Buckley of Goodbye And Hello, the mandolins jangle mournfully, while the bowed bass adds a morose sensuality. Also, the BGVs were credited to Nanette Newman Comments on the single F 12952 give further details about Nanette
