PeaceFrog 19th Mar 2022		Vinyl Album Grateful Dead - Dire Wolf (1985)	This album is special for a few reasons: 1) It is a re-release of Workingman's Dead (the 1970 Warner Bros release) with the following changes: a) Leaves off the song Cumberland Blues b) The songs Dire Wolf and Black Peter are swapped in their respective side and order from the origial release c) The song New Speedway Boogie appears as the the first song of side 2 v. last song on side 1 2) The name is misprinted on the back cover and label as "Greatful Dead" 3) In 80's, Platinum Records was budget record label that released some LPs and cassettes of American and British rock artists. In 1985, the IFPI in Germany determined that a large part of Platinum's titles violated German copyright law. Because of this, you can't find these albums in a typical marketplace (check discogs if you don't believe me). My copy was sold on ebay in March 2022 for $30 and was in Excellent condition. I think they got a steal!
