baldybeano 15th Sep 2019		I finally bought a stereo copy (purple label) of this album after I got my first Walkman. I was recording all my Beatles albums on cassette to listen to on the Walkman. I began to get several Beatles LPs that I did not have in stereo just for this purpose. I also bought near-mint German stereo copies of their first four albums in the 1980s as I was sequencing the songs in the order they were on the original UK albums. I found that original UK stereo pressings were very hard to find and very expensive.

W.B.lbl 9th Apr 2016		That wouldn't be Monarch . . . your copy sounds like a post-1986 pressing by Allied Record Company, with delta numbers from Sheffield Lab Matrix.



checkm8 9th Apr 2016		My copy has labels that are identical to label {Images #1002827 & 1002828}, although my copy appears to be a Monarch pressing since it has the following delta numbers in the deadwax: Side 1 is Δ12397 Side 2 is Δ12397-X

W.B.lbl 3rd Dec 2013		I couldn't help but think of how this LP would've looked like had Columbia House been allowed to offer this title after taking on Capitol in 1975 - especially the prospect of copies with an ST-502553 cat. #.
