| | Mine is the typical white background trunk cover, not a paste-over butcher. It also has the barely heard "OK Herb(?)" comment at the very end of 'Dr. Robert'. |

| | Years ago I saw a picture of someone holding a rejected? promo poster for the original Butcher sleeve, it was won at auction, and it is the only time I'd ever seen it. As far as I can remember the poster had a red meaty ? border and some wild text, ...whatever it had I know it looked great. However I have never been able to find the image (with the border) again, surely it is out there somewhere, even the repro-poster makers haven't bootlegged it, and I'd like one on my wall ! |

| | Added paste over cover with the dark V of Ringo's Turtleneck showing with respect to Passarinho, Los Angeles label scans fmc. I'm sorry the image is so dark (I tried), if the Moderators think this is not a good image please remove it. If you look closely, you can see Ringo's knees at the lower right.

| | Added the paste-over cover (Second State Butcher) from my collection. Try as I might, I was unable to get Ringo's V-neck to show through on my scanner. Since no trunk cover has been uploaded, I decided to let this do until I figure out a better scanner setting to copy the cover. I also have a partially peeled (Third State) cover that I can add if there is any interest. |

| | Yes, stereo copies made it out of the factories for sale, there is a well documented case of a woman who bought a stereo copy in a Chicago Sears store you tube found here!...John |

| | There seem to be a broad range of prices (values) attached to them, which is what I was wondering about, one or two have sold for thousands, and yet I've seen a couple around for a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand.
And happened to dig out Rock Album Cover (Angie Errigo) book today, and there's a full size (12" x 12") photo of a stereo copy cover in there. |

| | If I remember correctly, when the "Livingston Butchers" 25-count box was first made public knowledge, there were 19 mono & 6 stereo copies in it. |

| | Am I right in thinking that none of the stereo copies of this made it out of the factory? |

| | Yes, I own it, but obviously not with this cover (I wish!)... I see that this cover is still in the shrink-wrap. One of the "Livingston Butchers", perhaps? |
