rocket666 9th Mar 2020		Vinyl Album Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilsson (1972)	Both this and previous album The Point dated, in UK, 1971. No dates on US versions. Yet Point charted there back in Mar 71 and Schmilsson in Dec that year. (Xmas present). I suggest The Point was released here in the summer of '71, sneaking in to the UK chart for 1 week in Jan '72 after the animation TV programme was broadcast over that just past Xmas. Perhaps Schmilsson was also released in (Dec) '71 in UK, but couldn't find room on the UK charts till the first week of Feb '72 - along with the monster single hit, 'Without You'. I think the BBC 'Nilsson In Concert' may have been on air about this time too.

Side 1, DICK JAMES MUSIC LIMITED (1, 2, 3) and no full stop at end of track 3 credit. Sides 2 to 4. * beside and close to song titles where used, not before track number! A3 /B3 /C3 /D2... I also have a curious hybrid of sorts. Two discs in same UK sleeve, same UK cat no. yet at bottom of each label it state Made in U. S. A.. Run out grooves 1A MCA 354 W2; 1B MCA 355 W2; 2A MCA 356 W1; 2B MCA 357 W1: Any comments/ help please. Is that a later US reissue number?? Did UK run short at some point and import US pressed items??
