More likely 1968. But Polydor International did change to red Polydor by late 1969

There is also a polydor red label issue of this. The label should correctly be "Polydor International" in keeping with 45cat

Looks like the uploader of these images Dr D.

Should the year be 1967?

I'm not sure who altered the label from Polydor International to just Polydor - which is incorrect. My copy I originally would have submitted would have been Polydor International, and I'm pretty sure mine was a mono

Polydor International is the label name used in 45cat, and it wasn't restricted to Australia, but quite what the raison d'etre for the label name was I can't tell, as it seemed to include artists signed directly to Polydor like Bert Kaempfert, as well as licensed/distributed repertoire like The Who and Hendrix (both from Track). So, I'll throw it open to the floor!

 Hi Dr Doom and Waxmuseum,
Is the label here really Polydor or International Polydor Production as it says on the label and back sleeve? There was also a corresponding mono release cat# 613 002 so this one should be made a stereo release. The other site has four listings of this Australian release, two on this label and two on the plain old red Polydor label and as many versions Polydor or International Polydor Production or both as mathematically possible. So it seems the jury is out on just what to call these. I bet PhilMH would know which way was up with this label conundrum.
