DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT release
MGM label

Deutche Grammophon took over MGM manufacturing and release rights from EMI Electrola in late 1959. No Connie Francis albums had been pressed in Germany prior to the change. According to Deutsche Grammophon, every Connie Francis album was made available in white label promotion form in both mono and stereo during the period when both formats were individually pressed. I have included these white label promo releases wherever possible.

This album has the same content and picture sleeve as USA LP MGM SE 3761.

The above LP is a mono copy of a stereo tape. As such, it includes a one channel sound reproduction of the differing 'take' of THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU which is described as the STEREO version. This set is believed to be the only mono edition of THE EXCITING CONNIE FRANCIS not to feature the true 'mono' take.
