78rpm-maniac 13th Dec 2022		The winered-golden label is first edition of 1964 and red-label variant is first re-issue under the use of the old catalogue-number from around 1969/70. Around and around is a Germany-only compilation LP-Album.



Lee Wrecker 18th Jun 2016		My father's most prized possession album wise but not as rare as he thinks it is. He gave it to me once along with originals of first two British releases but then decided he wanted them back even though he doesn't have a record player. Maybe just looking at them reminded him of good times. Anyway the first three releases of the Stones and the compilation High Tide... are what I grew up with and probably largely account for my love of roots music, R 'n' B and soul. It wasn't until I could play the Brian Jones slide and lead licks on these early records that my Dad believed I could actually play guitar.
