TheDroid ● 15th Nov 2016		Added the gatefold image with "An Atlantic Record distributed by Kinney Record Group Ltd" blurb as mentioned by YankeeDisc. Also added alternate label set without the Warners logo on perimeter print.



YankeeDisc SUBS 25th Oct 2013		The Warner mini logo "W" at two o'clock on the rimprint signifies this as a later 1970s "Warner Communications Company" issue, and earlier copies of K 40037 with these green/white/orange labels normally mention Kinney or WEA Records Ltd., with Kinney being the earlier......I think. If you want to strain your eyes somewhat, have a look-see at the Master List for this Album, for which there are five K 40037 variants, all as far as I observed, Warner Communications, and one of those at least claiming a 1971 issue....... This from wikipedia.... Warner Bros.-Seven Arts (1967–1970) Kinney National Company (1970–1972) Warner Communications (1972–1990) ?? I tend to believe that the copies showing on this page as of now are around 1975 at the earliest, and that the 1972 date is optimistic (for UK at least). Take a look at the rimprint on a gallery of circa 1975 UK Atlantic singles, and most of them do not have the Warner Communications reference at two o'clock, whilst the later ones do. As albums became due for repressing, they would be updated to the new name, however long that might take. Of course this particular release would have been a strong back catalogue item seller, since first issue in 1969.

TheJudge 3rd Oct 2013		Certainly not a first or second pressing. Atlantic were still distributed by Polydor in '69, and the original cat# for this LP was 588 198. I would suggest that this entry is a re-issue, but I would put it sometime in the 70s after Atlantic went to Kinney/WEA.
