Comments and Reviews Neil Forbes 8th Jan 2015 I think, with the overall similarity of several Beatles album covers on any given title(with a few exceptions here and there), the only real variance in these issues, seems to be the differing labels in each market., might be an idea to just put the label and, maybe the rear of the cover on the website. Just a suggestion. Record Collector 8th Jan 2015 Yep spot on Neil Forbes 8th Jan 2015 This NZ issue's cover has seen better days! R.C. your orange-label issue could be a late 1970s to early-1980s re-issue. EMI was always repackaging The Beatles LP's, and even throwing together various compilations of their records, like Essential Beatles, for instance. The "Fab Four" were EMI's most profitable "cash-cow", so it seems. Record Collector 8th Jan 2015 Bought this back in 1981 the more familiar orange label format Neil would know what vintage I'm referring to An6y66 16th Nov 2014 just picked up this rather tatty sleeve, with the gold stereo stickers on both sides, how common were these stickers? I thought they were just used on mono sleeves, where the stereo pressing run was so limited it wasn't worth preparing a stereo sleeve, but the sleeve has the stereo cat no. so why did they need the sticker aswell?
