| | The gold label issue came out with a mono only cat# on rear of sleeve. Otherwise it's the same (I'll check my mono sleeve, but it looks the same) |

TopPopper 20th Apr 2015
| | OK - I think I've sorted them out. As the back of the sleeve states both mono and stereo, it's fair to assume both editions came in the same sleeve - so I've copied that over too. |

Neil Forbes 23rd Jan 2015
| | There really wasn't a valid reason for EMI not to use the proper artwork on either "With The Beatles" or "Beatles For Sale". All EMI Australia had were feeble excuses as to why they used the covers they did for these albums. |

Record Collector 23rd Jan 2015
| | Yep I would say so |
Neil Forbes 23rd Jan 2015
| | EMI Australia likely used the same excuse with the "Beatles For Sale" Australian cover. Do you think that might be the case, R.C.? |
Record Collector 23rd Jan 2015
| | Note the Australian issue cover reason is that EMI couldn't reproduce the English version |
Neil Forbes 23rd Jan 2015
| | No, R.C.! You're on safe ground! Magic Marmalade was having a friendly dig at me over my attempted Indian "accent", which can't be replicated in print - not really.(guess I could be accused of "channelling" Peter Sellers - as per his song with Sofia Loren, Goodness Gracious Me). |
