edlongus SUBS ● 19th Apr 2023		Cover variant and label variant scans added. This release sounds awful 2 my ear. Whatever 'Simulated Stereo' treatment that was used on this is unnoticeable, and this was released with a barcode number (0 7567-90386-1), so this could/should have been remastered in Mono and/or Stereo. This LP woulda been OK in the 1960s, but most major record companies had done away with muddy rechanneled Stereo mixes by the barcode era. Anyone wanting this should hold out 4 a straight Mono pressing. U have been warned...



andrewt3660 18th Feb 2020		The master number pegs this as a November 1968 release. Atlantic must have rushed out the rechanneled version to replace the original when mono was disappearing en masse, and they didn't want this catalogue seller to get left behind.



PhilMH 25th Apr 2019		This fake stereo edition is most likely from 1968 - see the first two digits of the matrix numbers on the labels. Occasionally Atlantic released albums early in the year after the one in which they were mastered, so this could be a 1969 release.
