Vinyl Album
Notes The famous octagonal cover is the original for this LP. It was in use for only about one year and replaced in late 1970/early 1971 with a standard square sleeve. The picture on the square sleeve was still octagonal and the corners filled with black. The octagonal sleeve was issued in two versions, the original having a boxed decca logo on the front the latter not having the logo. All octagonal covers were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. All square covers were printed by Robert Stace & Co. Special inner bags were made to fit the octagonal cover, red inner for Mono LPs and blue inner for Stereo LPs. Square covers were issued with the standard square Decca inner. The label for the original issue has is unboxed. No playing speed shown on the label and "Side 1" is to the left of the spindle hole. Later versions have the side number on the right side of the spindle hole. The "boxed" labels was used for later issues and has several label variations.
