 Another thought, I see in the Italian Stones discography there is an SKLl prefixed issue of Beggars Banquet.. But of course there are no images to compare to....John....(UK Decca pressed for a lot of outside sources...even in The USA and Canada)

 According to Stonesvikings....it is a UK export pressing....the date is the one thing unsure...in fact there is an actual SKLI label pressing from italy...The sleeves for both are printed in the UK though...but this is how it was purchased

 Italian? According to the other site which also provides pictures of labels that match the cat # listed here. BEATLEJOHN perhaps you have a UK reissue in an Italian sleeve and your labels are also variants to anything on the regular UK release page. Perhaps we should move your labels there and wait for the corresponding labels with a matching cat# to turn up. Maybe someone knows what the mysterious "I" signifies on the end of the regular Decca SKL cat# prefix really means. Australian Decca releases have the prefix SKLA and the "A" I presume is for Australia so it seems reasonable to assume that "I" would mean Italy as it does on this entry on the site.
Certainly an odd "new" purchase though but personally I don't like it when the collars don't match the cuffs. Unless, of course I've made the changes myself ie. better condition record in old original sleeve.
On the plus side you can claim ownership of two versions of this LP.

 I bought this in 1979 (new)....it had a late 70s UK pressing inside....I assume the cover was printed in the UK too which is why I'm giving it its "Export" identity (The standard non-gatefold UK cover had black corners)....John
