Sorry, this is not the first German issue, it's the second, from 1970!

The real German original has a lower catalog number (SLK 16570-P), has no "Decca" emblem and no stars on the front cover. On the back cover and the labels is an emblem of "Bild und Funk", a German TV magazine.

I don't have my old copy of this record anymore and so I can't upload pictures. But on discogs you can see the pictures. Here's the link:

The release date on discogs (January 1969) is true. In 1968 there was no German "Beggars Banquet" at all. Teldec had been too slow, and so they had to import British albums for sale before christmas... (I remember that because in 1969/70 I was selling records in a shop in Hamburg every saturday).

There is also a 1968 red-Decca-release of this LP-Album. With fold-out-cover and some differences in the cover-layout.
That earlier pressing has no DECCA logo on bottom right, but on the top left five stars.
That was a marketing-campaign by German TELDEC-recordcompany, which supported several lp-albums as a part of the so called Five-Star-Series.
