Notes NIPPON GRAMMOPHON release MGM label - "SMM" Series The above album features the original Hawaiian-sound backings recorded on February 20-22, 1968, and to which Connie Francis overdubbed her vocals on the 13th, 18th & 19th of March of the same year. The set also includes the complete version of HAPPY HOURS, as well as retaining the introduction to I'LL REMEMBER YOU. Housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, the front of which reproduces the cover picture to the USA LP MGM SE 4522, the album credited with the title HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY as well as HAWAII CONNIE. The above features the same content as UK MGM C/CS 8110 which was issued in a non-picture sleeve. The complete Hawaiian collection with original accompaniments had, by 1994, only been officially released in Britain and Japan.
