| | The rainbow Capitol label from 1960s is one of those classic "must-haves" for vinyl collectors, along the lines of black/yellow Parlophone for instance.
Its good to see the original with the "Capitol" symbol on the side as well as the one with the symbol at the top from a couple of years later.
The rainbow label has now been revived on all new releases of the album on vinyl as well as on CD. |

| | Had the pleasure of spending last night at the Apollo in the company of Mr. Wilson performing this album in its entirety. Messrs Jardine and Chaplin were also in attendance! |

| | Uploaded a 1960s "Rainbow" label issue. I don't know if the first stereo pressings had the older "Long Playing" version as the mono issue. Any ideas?
I've also seen a stereo issue with the light green/ pink and black dotted "C" label. |

| | I got my copy in the early 70s when I was working in a record shop. It took 6 weeks to get.
It was nearly always out of stock at EMI ! |

| | ....bought my copy on the very day it was released, May 1966, took it home played it, and was blown away.
"You Still Believe In Me", "Caroline No", and "I'm Waiting For The Day" were my standouts from day one, but of course the whole album is a tour de force, Paul McCartney said so, and it must be right..... |
