It should be noted that the {Images #2048095, 2048096, 2048099 & 2048102} variant from Jacksonville had its label blanks printed by Artco Press of Terre Haute, IN. That's the one where the black in the apple appeared overexposed, and the 'ALL RIGHTS RESERVED...' language veered towards the right and up.
The label blanks with 'ALL RIGHTS RESERVED' below the 'MFD. BY APPLE...' rim print as on {Images #2212153, 2212154, 2212155 & 2212159} were printed by Stoughton Printing of City of Industry, CA; they were the more yellowish and less greenish of the lot. Presumably Stoughton also printed the label blanks on {Images #2212160, 2212161, 2212162 & 2212163} as well. (The other label blank printer by the mid-1970's - first brought together around 1973 if not a bit before - was Keystone of Scranton, which stock went to Winchester.)
It also begs the question of how this design would have looked in Apple's last months had Columbia House been permitted to license selected albums from Apple for their subscribers? Would the print have read 'MANUFACTURED BY COLUMBIA HOUSE, 51 WEST 52ND STREET, NEW YORK, NEW YORK 10019 UNDER LICENSE FROM APPLE RECORDS, INC."?
It is a solid dot and 0873597. This is an original with Rocky Racoon misspelt on the center sticker of the vinyl. The solid dot represents that it was originally manufactured in Jacksonville, Illinois.
I got my copy as a Christmas gift and it must be a first pressing as it has the errors. 'Obladi, Oblada' and 'Bungalow Bill' on side one as well as the others. I still have the original 4 color photos and the poster with the album, everything in very good condition. The stamped number on the front is A1905667.
