A lot of budget labels used a mixture of it because it was cheaper than 100% vinyl. Some early black label Decca LP's are like that too. Less flexible & more brittle than vinyl.

Bill Fick 4th Jul 2014		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - For LP Fans Only	On this German pressing, "Mystery Train" does not fade out. It keeps going until the band comes to a full stop. Never heard a version that long except on this pressing (don't know about it's mono counterpart). I would've kept it for that reason alone but for the fact that I hated that fake stereo with a passion. RCA's brand of it was just about the worst. A shame, especially when you consider that RCA made some true stereo audiophile gems like "Elvis Is Back!" Or the 1959 re-recording of "Victory At Sea".

Didn't know at first that it was on this LP because it had no markings whatsoever. Finally, Atlantic Records starting putting a sticker on the shrink-wrap stating, "This album contains 'Stairway To Heaven'"...

From what I've read, Paul himself didn't seem to care for this album.
