Round The Twist (1989 - 2001)
Producing just 4 series over roughly 12 years means there must've been gaps of a number of years between the making of each series. No wonder, then, that the cast was changed in each(except for Richard Moir's two stints as Tony Twist) Though I'd like to see this series again, it's hardly likely to be re-run as it was shot in the old "Academy"(or 4:3) aspect ratio. The only stuff ABC is prepared to run in that screen ratio is old(ancient, creaky) RKO and Rank movies of the 1930s to 1950s........ Yawn!

The Bradys (1990)
Seems to me like milking a formula for every last drop they could get out of it. The producers should've let the soppy goody-two-shoes Brady family fade away after the last episode made in 1974 was "in the can".

Bread (1986 - 1991)
Methinks the producers were "loafin' around" when they came up with this "crumby" excuse for a sit-com! Certainly was "half-baked" and not worth a "crust"!(I think I've used up just about every possible pun there is on this show, ha-ha).

I've recently burned this and its follow-up to CD-R, giving my own synthetic stereo effect to the monaural content of both LPs. They came up pretty good too, even if I do say so myself(modest little bugger, ain't I - don't answer that! ha-ha)

The fact that the four main German characters are played by German or Austrian Jews, may well be them having the "last laugh" on their tormentors! Leon Askin is no stranger to TV viewers, having played the "Landburger Gessler" in William Tell and he also appeared in an unused "extra" segment of Young Frankentein.

Vic Christopher did a cover of Charley Pride's record in 1972 for a label still in its infancy in Australia in that year, M7 Records. I had a copy but got rid of it. Needless to say that, though I like Charley Pride as a singer, I don't bother with his, or anyone else's version of that song.

@Graham7, I have another method for the purpose of removing the black from the spindle hole, I'll use it for further uploads. Glad you liked the new label scans, though!

Hee Haw (1969 - 1993)
@23skidoo, I only got to see a brief portion of the show at my brother's place. Back at home(Stockton, NSW) our Sydney antenna blew down in a storm around 1972 and we were restricted to the local commercial station(NBN) and the ABC station(ABHN). Not much of a choice there! And Hee-Haw was definitely NOT on NBN's schedule!

High Anxiety - 20th Century Fox
It had its moments though. I had a VHS of this which had(has) a linear stereo audio track(also have an old top-loading stereo VHS deck that plays and records linear stereo but has no inbuilt tuner - recording is by way of line-in A/V connections, RCA for the audio and BNC for video). The real disappointment for me was Mel Brooks didn't utilise the stereo effect that much in his movies. Just segments here and there, like his performance of the movie's theme song for instance.

@23skidoo I remember seeing a bit of one of these shows once many moons ago when, on a visit to my Brother's house(some time around 1975 or so, he lived at Warners Bay then, with his family, and was able to pick up the Sydney stations.) Not sure which station carried this show, but what I saw of it made me immediately think of Laugh-In.

I've added improved label scans as Graham7 has requested. much sharper, ay? Found a trick, place a spindle of blank(or used) DVDs or CDs on the record as you scan. the weight presses the record label against the glass bed of the scanner. Mod, if you could please remove old label scans? Cheers! Thanks!

@Harley Yeah! I thought it might've been her singing the theme! Even though Tamsin West and her co-stars from series one were replaced(though Richard Moir hung around for another series), they kept Tamsin West's performance of the theme song. That was mighty nice of them!
