The Rifleman (1958 - 1963)
I remember this show fairly well. Johnny Crawford also had a singing career at the same time as he was in this show, and in the late 1970s, Chuck Connors hosted a series called "Thrillseekers".

Oh, please, 23skidoo, don't say that! Our Australian TV is riddled with this insidious cancer of "reality" TV(and 100 times out of 100, it ain't "reality" at all! It's totally contrived rubbish). I'm with Record Collector on this one! We need to totally "purge" our TV of this so-called "reality" trash! I hate to think this "magazine"-style show, Believe It Or Not was the progenitor of that vile bile which is "reality" TV.

I think the tracks you're after are on other(possibly later) albums. Use the website's search facility, you'll find out from there which albums carry those tracks.

@Monolith: "Oh and I use compatible ink cos the original is out of my price range and is a rip-off". Yeah!!!! I've been using G & G ink cartridges for mine, they're only roughly a third of the price that Canon charges for their "genuine" cartridges, and the G & G ones work fine and last as long as Canon's. Works out a heck of a lot cheaper. The colour(yellow/magenta/cyan) and the smaller black cartridge(not the thicker "page-black" for document printing), I get them for $11.95 each at a "Leading Edge" computer shop in Nelson Bay(north of Newcastle, by about 40 minutes' drive, about 57 kilometres, give or take a few). The Canon's go for around $30. The G & G page-blacks are a bit over $12.

I have the cassette("You Won't Believe Your Ears") and have transferred it to CD myself, then saw a commercially-issued CD of it some time back. Yes, RC, buy it if you can find it. It's absolutely hilarious!

Yep, Gotta be careful with cassettes. It's the inventor of the format that I blame, Philips. If any other company had come up with the idea, say EMI, or any of the German companies, they would've done a far better job in developing the format. I've stopped using cassettes anyway(except for extracting content off them), I burn all my music to home-compiled CDs these days, inkjet-printable ones too, so I can design my own labels and print straight to the disc with my Canon printer that has that CD-printing feature.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not! (1982 - 1986)
I remember episodes of this on Station NBN-Newcastle(in Australia) years ago. So-so TV. Filled a scheduling gap but that's about all it did. Occasionally something interesting came on, like a live performance by vocal sound-effects comedian, Wes Harrison, that's about the only bit that I can recall of this otherwise forgettable show.

I bought cassette copies of this and "Down Two Then Left" issued on Rainbow(brand) cassettes in a two-fer pack(each in its own case with its own card) but late bought them on CD. The cassettes were disappointing as they jammed(bad mechanism - probably Rainbow were using product from a dodgy supplier of cassette blanks). As for song, We're All Alone, think I prefer Scaggs' own version over Rita Coolidge's.

Must be difficult, taking with your tongue in your cheek! Might garble the words a bit(ha-ha). I've got an episode of this tucked away on my external hard-drive, an episode dealing with a favourite subject of mine, ghosts.(Boo!)

B1, Hollywood, got plenty of radio exposure but I don't think it charted here(as a single). I think A1, Still Falling For You also got a bit of airplay as well, but again, no chart listing.

The Way We Were - RCA / Columbia Pictures
That's interesting. When video libraries first started(tell me if it was the same in the USA or UK, as it was here in Australia), you'd buy the tape(VHS or Beta) at the cost price(be it $60, $70 or $80 Australian), you'd take it home, watch it then bring it back to the store and swap it for another in the same cassette format. Then came the libraries that charged a nominal #5 overnight fee and you returned the tape the following day. Older titles could be hired on a weekly basis. Sound familiar?

Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids (1972 - 1985)
I couldn't rightly tell you what Warners or MCA(Universal) are planning, re: Cosby. I was going by what I have on LP vinyl. Actually, back in the 1980s a budget label here in Australia was issuing quite a bit of Cosby's MCA content in different mixes. That label was J. & B., which started life issuing LPs of "Bawdy Ballads" and "Dirty Ditties". I'm sure you don't need me to explain what they were..... or do you?(ha-ha)

A Ghost Story For Christmas (1971 - 1978)
A DVD content cut down to 700-or-so megabytes in MP4? Hmmm, must remember that! Might even convert what's already on my external hard-drive(dedicated to TV shows, docos and movies) across to MP4 and gain some extra storage space. Nice one, Monolith!
