I've not come across this online at all, but somewhere I have a letter from the band which included this morsel. The letter was from Dick Green, not Alan McGee, on Creation Artifact letterhead.

OldMod67 6th Jan 2022		TV Newhart (1982 - 1990)	I think I only watched the earlier episodes, but remember enjoying them. Something I didn't know back then was that the opening credits with the car are actually outtakes from one of my favourite films, On Golden Pond!

I saw it in the UK, I believe Summer 1978, so are we adding or not adding to Cinema? Or is it just needing a note?

I think I bought Cruiser's Creek and then this album, rather than album first. A Monkees fan since a kid, what I do find interesting is that a Cruiser's Creek review likened it to Stepping Stone (which I didn't spot) but then Barmy on the album has a riff certainly inspired by Valleri...

I was so looking forward to the proposed cinema release, got excited with a longer TV series, then got a serious bottom lip with a Disney exclusive (we don't have Disney+). But I eagerly await a DVD! I now only work on a tablet, so my images are iffy nowadays, but consider having my image up better than none, until a kind catter can replace. Considering the detail russh29 has gone into, grateful is a word I would use rather than laughable.

I don't remember a second chance at our school, I was at Kinson School just down the road from you. The details are pretty scant on this series, not much has survived. Was the July show (ticket above) the first one, do you know? Update note, July 2023: Peeling Banana image added. Found photo online, can't locate any further details as to photographer, date etc

OldMod67 2nd Nov 2021		Book Michael Compton - Pop Art	Good little book this! I picked mine up second hand around 1984 in Longmans, Westover Road, Bournemouth for £2.25. It survived intact until last year when we homed two cats from a sanctuary. One had a chewing phase and this is the volume he found in the bookcase. Only nibbled at the corners, but even so.... As far as I can see mine is identical to the one illustrated so well here by dr.zoze, right down to the adhesive SBN inside -EXCEPT no printed price on the flap. Mine originally had a sticker, long since gone.
