Quad5point1 16th Jul 2015 | | DVDBattle Of The V.1 - Renown Pictures Limited | This is truly awful and the colorizing looks like it was done by a 2 year old. Some scenes only have the characters colourized while the rest of the backdrop is still black & white. It also says "Digitally Restored and Remastered", I would take it they mean that in the loosest possible sense ie taken from a film and digitally encoded to a disc and nothing in between. Avoid at all costs

Quad5point1 13th Jul 2015 | | Blu-rayYellowstone - BBC 2 Entertain | This show is a great example of nature filming. It is stunning in the extreme and thoroughly recommended to anybody who likes nature programs. It's simply a "Must See"
Quad5point1 13th Jul 2015 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - RAK's Greatest Hits | Yep you're right Neil. I've just noticed the first issue has 20 tracks and the second has 23 tracks, hence the need for a new catalogue number
Quad5point1 13th Jul 2015 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - RAK's Greatest Hits | I would say both are UK. Your disc is probably just a later issue where they've decided not to print track details on the disc. It still says on the disc and cd tray insert Made In The UK and Printed in England / Manufactured in England. Discogs also has both discs logged as UK. Your track listing is missing three tracks as well. Track 9 - Dyna - Mite by Mud, Track 17 - Devil Gate Drive by Suzi Quatro and Track 22 - Cambodia by Kim Wilde

Quad5point1 12th Jul 2015 | | DVDMo - Channel 4 | A remarkable film about a remarkable woman played by a remarkable actress. Simply brilliant
Quad5point1 12th Jul 2015 | | Blu-ray Box SetDas Boot - Sony Pictures Home Entertainment | An essential "Must Have" for any collection. Simply superb
Quad5point1 9th Jul 2015 | | Blu-rayHigh Anxiety - 20th Century Fox | I would be biased in my opinion of this movie as it was the first Mel Brooks film I ever saw and even though Young Frankenstein is good I think this is one of the cleverest and funniest movies ever. Madeline Khan in this film is superb as was Cloris Leachman and Harvey Korman. The remastered 5.1 soundtrack is also worth having.

Quad5point1 7th Jul 2015 | | DVDThe Galton And Simpson Playhouse - Network | Originally done in 1977 this is a great collection of seven Galton & Simpson plays to have. The three I particularly remembered are still as good today as they were then. They were
Car Along The Pass starring Arthur Lowe
Swap You One Of These for One Of Those starring Richard Briers
I Tell You It's Burt Reynolds starring Leonard Rossiter
Just great seeing them again

Quad5point1 7th Jul 2015 | | CD AlbumT. Rex - Electric Warrior | Limited Scans, Still Shrinkwrapped
Quad5point1 6th Jul 2015 | | DVDAbigail's Party - BBC | Superb Play from 1977. It's just how I remember the 70's. If you like a bit of time travel there isn't a better way to get you there.
Quad5point1 6th Jul 2015 | | DVDReggie Perrin : Series 2 - BBC 2 Entertain | I never thought this would work after the Leonard Rossiter series "The Fall & Rise Of Reginald Perrin" but remarkably it did. It slightly changed things and in the process created something that wasn't trying to be just a rip-off from the original. All the cast are pretty amazing and I don't think there's a dud character in it. Well worth a watch if you've never seen it

Quad5point1 6th Jul 2015 | | DVD Box SetThe McCartney Years - Warner Music Entertainment | Although quite good, this set represents to me a missed opportunity for the release of the Back To The Egg Videos in their entirety. Quite possibly the best thing he did on video and it didn't appear.
Quad5point1 6th Jul 2015 | | DVDThe Killing Of Sister George - Prism Leisure | For me Beryl Reid was at the peak of her game around this period. Absolutely brilliant performance from her. This along with Entertaining Mr Sloane would be two of my favourite movies from this period in the 60's
Quad5point1 6th Jul 2015 | | DVDModern Problems - Anchor Bay Entertainment | For me one of Chevy Chase's least known and funnier movies
