Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band - Strictly Personal
I managed to find images of the later Sunset press labels and posted them here for comparison. You can see quite clearly the differences between the two issues. and you are right carryonsidney the later laminated sleeve was only laminated on the front with about about 1/4" to 1/2" flipped over on to the rear panel, I know mine didn't wear too well as the card used to make the sleeve was quite light and it was subject to wear very quickly.

Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band - Strictly Personal
When I first saw your comment ppint I wanted to reply straight away but thought I would do a bit more research before doing so. Strictly Personal was released in the UK 1968 on the Liberty label and you can get the relevant info here http://www.discogs.com/Captain-Beefheart-His-Magic-Band-Strictly-Personal/release/1783862 + here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Beefheart_discography. I couldn't remember off hand but I was sure the Sunset pressing still had the Liberty matrix numbers in the deadwax but scratched out. So I got into the attic and dug it out and I was right, My copy on Side 1 has the Liberty Matrix LBS 83172 A-2U + the Sunset matrix SLS 50208 A-2U. Side 2 has the Liberty matrix LBS 83172 B-2U + the Sunset matrix SLS 50208 B-2U. The vinyl weighs in at 147g and although the sleeve isn't laminated it is a better quality sleeve with thicker embossed card than the later laminated version. I did at one time own the second Sunset pressing and would agree that the quality is not as good as the first Sunset pressing which would probably be on a par with the original Liberty issue. The audio quality on my album is also excellent and definitely doesn't sound second rate to me

Boys From The Blackstuff - BBC
This is an absolute masterpiece and, Although not originally intended to be a critique of the Thatcher Tory Government that's what it became symbolic of. I reckon Alan Bleasdale must've had a crystal ball because everything you see here actually happened one way or another.

A very hard movie to define into one particular genre, amongst others it is darkly comic as well. Still, It's one of my all time favourites plus it has an Aimee Mann track on it (Save Me) which is always good anyway

Nice Work - BBC
A great drama series from Auntie Beeb originally televised in 1989. Been waiting a long time for this one so the old VHS TV recordings can now get the heave-ho. Just waiting for another BBC classic called Roger Roger. Written by John Sullivan (Fools & Horses) about a taxi company, it's hilarious.

Darby O'gill And The Little People - Walt Disney
I remember going to the cinema to this when I was about 8. The Banshee and the Death Coach scenes scared the wits out of me. Great wee movie for it's time, originally released in 1959. I still enjoy it today. Catch a flavour of it [YouTube Video]

Plan 9 From Outer Space - Legend Films Inc
I remember seeing this for the first time on Channel 4's "Worst Of Hollywood" season. I just couldn't believe what I was watching. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to have a cardiac arrest. Brilliant piece of unintentional comedy entertainment. A real "Must See" and now in colour as well. The same company has also released this on Blu-Ray
