Made in US for sale in UK. By our lights, that would make it a UK release

Nuclear Blast is a German label, but it seems there were a lot of reissues from another source trying to pass themselves off as NB releases. Given what you've said about the insert, it's possible this is one of those.

"Wrexham, England"!!!!? Bloody cheek!

Actually, The Windings was only a fifteen-minute walk from where I'm sitting now. Quite a few bands recorded there, including Chumbawamba (Disc Two of this) and Hecate Enthroned.

Brammer Brother's And The Virginia Partener's - Tell Me Truly Little Darling / Virginia Waltz
The default sort order is by date, so this being shown as '1950' would put it top. Are you saying that this is a 1951 release?

There's only facility to add two discs when making a new entry. Any further discs would have to be reported via the 'Add Missing Info' link at the bottom for a mod. to add them.

The Cascades - Rhythm Of The Rain
Perfectly possible for the record to have been manufactured in one country and the sleeve in another (this is seen quite a bit in Canadian releases of certain vintages, where the disc was pressed in Canada but the sleeve imported from the US).

Review
It might have been thought impossible for the Mael brothers to have met the standards of 2017's Hippopotamus, but they have not merely succeeded, they have exceeded the quality of that album.

All the Sparks trademarks are there: the varied musical styles and influences (Left Out In The Cold is in a distinctly Latin style, The Existental Threat is based on klezmer); the oblique takes on reality (Stravinksky's Only Hit postulates what would have happened if Igor had decided to write pop songs instead, for example); and the glorious battiness (Lawnmower, Onomato Pia).

But there is a surprising melancholy underpinning many of the tracks Pacific Standard Time being the standout example. Perhaps this is what we can expect from a couple of septuaginarians.

The musicianship and production are excellent, with the brothers clearly knowing who they can bring in to provide tight and dynamic playing.

The outstanding track is iPhone, in which - in turn - Adam, Abraham Lincoln and Mrs Steve Jobs wrestle with the difficulty of trying to communicate with their audiences (Eve, the crowd at Gettysburg and Mr Steve Jobs respectively), hence the chorus, "Put that fucking iPhone down and listen to me!"

Quite possibly Sparks' strongest ever album and a sure-fire classic.

I think the 'S' in the middle of the cat# on the review is a typo. However, I think the cat# on our entry should have an 'S' at the beginning.

And I'm not sure about that sleeve image, either; it shows the cat# for the 7",

It's unrelated to the Pickwick Hallmark. I've changed the label here to 'Hallmark Cards' to match the other US releases on that label.

Just a side point: 'Jacks' is the name given by others (and by themselves) to people from Abertawe/Swansea.

Up here at the other end of the World's Greatest Country(TM) it's also used for people from Rhosllanerchrugog ('The Rhos').

Mr. James Hudson - Miner's Dream Of Home / Don't Go Down The Mine, Dad
1. Of the three others, one had had the dot missed off on submission, and two don't have images to check. I've converted them all to the same format as this entry, so that will put all of Mr. Hudson's releases together.

2. I'm not quite sure of the standard procedure on this; may best to but the B-side cat# as the 'other' cat# instead.

Frank Chacksfield - Terry's Theme / Limelight
I just know that I'm opening up a can of worms here, but shouldn't this (and the other two Chacksfield London issues) be categorised as 'export issue'? I know that - even if so - we would have to state the diameter in the Notes (or state 'Export issue' in the Notes and leave the diameter where it is).
