For the week of 14 August, it was replaced by Mantovani & His Orchestra's "Moulin Rouge" for 1 week.

"I Believe" returned for a final run at #1 on 21 August for 3 weeks.

The total of 18 weeks at #1 is still an unbeaten UK chart record. This was also the best-selling record of 1953.
