Thanks for adding these images, zabadak! At least now everyone can see that the DAHR entry was in error. Thanks also to KeithS for his editing wizardry!

Images added (sorry, I don't have access to Gimp (or, indeed, a scanner!) at the moment...) :erk:

As it was released only in August 1924, I can also contribute a confirmation for the "August 1" release day from Talking Maching World, August 15, 1924, page 166.

You are right, this record was released Friday, August 1, 1924. It was advertised in the Mansfield News (Mansfield, OH), July 31, 1924, page 2, under the heading "Out tomorrow: New Victor Records Red Seal Records."

Unfortunately the first half-year of Talking Maching World of 1924 is not available on the web, but this record was not released in 1923 anyway. The highest Red Seal number in December 1923 was 968 (TMW Dec 1923, p. 193).

This record was sold on ebay a while ago, so definitely issued. A thumbnail of the A side can still be accessed here.

DAHR lists this issue as unissued. Country should be USA, not Italy, if at all. Please request label scans or photos as proof that this release exists. DAHR has been wrong before.
[Fixed country, added dates. Mod.]
