xiphophilos 31st Aug 2023		These recordings were originally made in Stockholm, Sweden, on December 10, 1931 (changed the date above). They were assigned the matrix numbers WS 420 (Fart I Spelet) and WS 421 (Hambo Ska' De' Va') (source: smdb). The U.S. Columbia dubbed and renumbered these tracks when they issued them in 1934, originally on a Viva-Tonal label. Discogs says that Erik Källqvist was known for making one Christmas record each year between 1934 and 1944. I guess he started this tradition at least as early as 1931.
