The source for "Happy Baby" being the A-side is the record itself. That little diamond shaped thing (or wahtever), just behind the matrix number, indicates the B side on decca records.
What's the source on Happy Baby being the A-side? Every Haley discography I've ever seen including the Billboard review shows Dim Dim the Lights as the A-side.
The Personality Series label with silver font was introduced in Sept. 1954, shortly before this record was released in Nov. 1954. Bert-Co in Hollywood used this label design until ca. June 1956. Other Decca plants (Richmond, IN, and Gloversville) replaced this with the Star label in Dec. 1954, and that remained in use until ca. July 1958, when Decca stopped producing 78s.

Can anyone shed a little light on the different labels. Star label 1st press ? Personality series a later pressing ?? How many Bill Haley 78s appeared on the personality label ??
Thanks
