 Numbers below 500 were issued in the US (without the L prefix). The earliest of these on this site is 121. For some reason L501 and L506 were issued in the UK before L500.

 They are really blue. The US london label releases also have the blue label.

 Are the labels really blue, or just the way that they've came through the scan?

 I'd guess that the blue is earliest as that was the colour that they were using for the US exports and the matrix number looks like the original Universal reference before Decca got hold of it
