James Carson2 5th Nov 2024		Thanks xiphophilos - after I posted the videos, I actually received a much cleaner copy, I just haven't gotten around to recording that one yet!



xiphophilos 23rd Mar 2023		Thanks for uploading the music! The recordings are quite clear, but maybe you can get even better results out of the record if you rinse it in warm water and clean away the dust from the grooves with a microfiber cloth. I then dry the records with kitchen paper towels. It may not remove the slight pop (that seems to be a scratch), but maybe some of the crackling.



James Carson2 23rd Mar 2023		I will upload a better recording of the song once I have access to the box this disc is in Eileen Barton's first record - Eileen mentioned in an interview and her discography declares "Would You Believe Me" from 1947 on Capitol as her first record. This was recorded and released, however, a year earlier, in 1946. Seems like she forgot about this one!
